The Adcock Down Hole Tool (DHT) Stabilized Air Hammer is an integrated package of heavy-duty rotary-air hammer drilling components. The principle function of the package is to drill large diameter straight holes in hard rock and/or insert up to 24-inch diameter casings to depths of 100 to 200 feet in unconsolidated sediment without removing any material from inside the pipe.

The DHT-Stabilized Air Hammers contain features designed to maintain hole alignment that exceeds the industry standard for bore hole alignment.

The DHT-Stabilized Air Hammers and bits are manufactured of premium alloy steels and heat treated to aircraft quality control specifications that allow for optimum penetration rates with reliability down hole.

The DHT-Stabilized Air Hammer has capabilities in unconsolidated earth material for:

• Pipe insertion without removing any material from inside the pipe.
• Selective removal of material from inside pipe.
• Air drilling underlying rock.
• Broaching pre-drilled hole to pipe drive shoe diameter.

The DHT-Stabilized Air Hammer has proven capabilities to:

• Insert steel pipe as deep as 183 feet without removing any of the interior material.
• Restart pipe insertion after a seven (7) day delay.
• Cut through cobble rock during pipe insertion.
• Insert pipe down to large boulders, remove interior material to boulder, pre-drill through solid rock material, then continue broaching pipe through pre-drilled hole for deeper insertion.
• Seat up to 24-inch diameter steel pipe into dipping bedrock and sealing the pipe shoe to rock, thereby allowing the system to air drill an open socket hole.

• Drill all hard rock formations up to 30-inch diameter.
